Environment and habitats:
Situated on the edge of the Northern
Tablelands, altitude 370 metres. A large partially cleared garden with some
bird attracting plantings, surrounded by tropical rainforest and other large
gardens including a small dam. The area is dissected by numerous perennial
and seasonal creeks.
|
|
Climate: Wet
tropical. Temperatures are moderated due to altitude.

Degrees C; day 27.41, night 18.50. Mean average rainfall 1,978 mm, 81% falling in the
monsoon
December to April.
